The very young and elegant 2022 Valtuille La Vitoriana was produced with grapes from one of the family's oldest plots, one of the oldest vineyards in the village too, where the soils are stony, with quartzite and clay. It fermented with 30% full clusters in an oak vat and matured in one 500-liter oak barrel for one year. The grapes were picked early, and the wine has contained ripeness, not showing any of the heat from the year, with 13.48% alcohol and a medium-bodied palate with fine-grained and chalky tannins. All of the wines from 2022 are clean, elegant and fresh. 620 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2024.
