Tasted at the Burgundy 2003 dinner (non-blind.) This is a stunning Clos-de-Beze. It has an otherworldly bouquet of red-berried fruits, wild strawberry, oyster shell and just a hint of fresh fig. You could sit and nose this all day. Wonderful definition. The palate is medium-bodied with a wonderful sense of natural balance. Just effortless. Sensuous, silky tannins that belies the concentration and power under the bonnet. Wild strawberry, raspberry, a touch of cranberry and pomegranate. This is an approachable Clos de-Beze. 96/100
