A pure Garnacha Peluda from a high-altitude vineyard at 800 meters above sea level on limestone soils in the Montsant mountain. The 2022 Les Manyes is a pure Garnacha Peluda from vines that were planted 60 years ago, from a high-altitude vineyard at 800 meters above sea level on limestone soils in the Montsant mountain. It fermented with full clusters and indigenous yeasts for seven to eight days. The wine matured in concrete for eight months. It's delicate, pale, ethereal, elegant, floral and perfumed, quite primary with purity of flavors. It has certain lightness, subtle flavors and a dry finish. 3,008 bottles were filled in May 2023.

A complex, aerial and pristine garnacha peluda, exhibiting aromas of crushed wild strawberries, forest berries, crushed stones, dried thyme and some dried spices as well. Medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins. Plenty of energy and drive with generous fruit, but it always remains in control. Seductive volume and a velvety touch brings elegance and juiciness. Poised, infused and authentic. Long finish. Drink or hold.

Yields were down in 2022 but Les Manyes shines through once again, with its evocative blend of ripe, earthy fruits, potpourri style floral components, pepper and undergrowth. More intense than the 2021 but just as unique. A wine that shifts and grows in the glass. Just stunning.

Complex bouquet with notes of ripe sour cherry, blackberry, cassis and garrigue herbs with floral hints and a hint of fresh sea breeze. On the palate polished, ripe tannin, mineral and savoury, full-bodied and extremely long on the finish.
