The 2022 Riesling Ürziger Würzgarten Auslese *** (White Capsule) is very clear, intense and warm on the concentrated yet refined and saline nose that reveals a hint of noble oak and, with more aeration, fresh lemon juice. Full-bodied, intense and powerful on the palate, this is a tightly structured Riesling with a long, dense and still youthful finish that is full of energy and mineral tension. If you like to gain finesse and reduce sheer power, drink this dry Auslese from a big Burgundy glass, even if it looks a little weird. 12% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in August 2024 from AP 63 23.
