There's a lot more depth and complexity in the 2023 Cepas Viejas, a white from old vines. It has a high-pitched nose with notes of cloves and other spices intermixed with herbal notes and hints of bay leaf. It was a challenging year, with rain in September after a warm summer. The wines are lighter than those from 2022, with very good freshness. It has a deeper color and a creamy palate, with good ripeness and development of aromas and flavors, with complexity and nuance. It should develop nicely in bottle. It was produced with approximately 70% Godello, 20% Treixadura and 10% Albariño. 2,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in September 2024.,,
