Elaboración: Un tinto 100% garnacha "de monte", procedente de viñas viejas de entre 40 y 65 años de edad, y una firma, el enólogo australiano Chris Ringland. 

Crianza de 18 meses en barricas de roble francés.

Notas de Parker sobre la añada 2007: The same can be said for the 2007 Alto Moncayo, also 100% Garnacha. It offers up a similar aromatic and flavor profile, just at a slightly higher octane level. This opulent effort is all about pleasure; give it 3-4 years of additional cellaring if you’d like it a bit more civilized

A pure and powerful garnacha with concentrated aromas of strawberry liqueur, cedar, leather and warm stones. Full-bodied and mighty, with an extravagantly juicy palate, firm yet polished tannins and a long, monumental finish. Needs a couple of years to mellow out. Drink or hold.

Notas de "The Wine Enthusiast"

This elegant wine is brilliant ruby to the eye, with aromas of ripe red and black fruits, especially red currant and cassis. It has secondary aromas of tobacco, cedar and pencil shavings in the complex bouquet. The tannins are rounded, generous and very silky. It is juicy and full-bodied in the mouth with flavors of ripe red cherry, black raspberry and cassis.

Color, cereza muy intenso. Aroma, muy tostado (torrefactado), potente, fruta negra, hierbas de monte, especias dulces, roble cremoso. Boca, retronasal ahumado, persistente, taninos maduros.
